At Peak Home Decor, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes a product may not be quite right, and we are here to help make your return or exchange as smooth as possible.

This policy explains your rights and our procedures in relation to returns, refunds, and exchanges, in accordance with UK Consumer Law.


1. General Policy

We offer a 14-day return window under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, allowing you to return eligible items purchased online.

You must notify us of your intent to return within 14 days of receiving your order, and the items must be sent back within a further 14 days.

Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or damaged.

To request a return, email us at info@peakhomedecor.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions and the return address.


2. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

We take great care to ensure that every order arrives in perfect condition. However, if your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and details of the issue.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund within 30 days of receipt, as provided by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

For faulty or incorrect items, we will cover all return shipping costs.


3. Non-Returnable and Excluded Items

Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene or customisation reasons. This includes:

  • Custom-made or personalised items
  • Gift cards
  • Hygiene-sensitive products once unsealed (if applicable)

Please note that sale or discounted items remain eligible for return under UK law, unless otherwise stated as non-returnable.


4. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please place a new order and return the original product for a refund.

This ensures faster service and availability of stock.


5. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email of the outcome. If your return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • Refund times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item is damaged or incorrect.

6. Return Shipping Responsibility

Until your return reaches us, the goods remain your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service and retaining proof of postage for your records.


7. International Returns

International customers may return items following the same process. Please clearly mark packages as “Returned Goods – No Commercial Value” to avoid customs delays or duties. However, currently we do not ship internationally.

Please note that import duties or local taxes are not refundable by Peak Home Decor.
